A stronger hold, greater security, and proven RAST technology: With the new 3510-6 connector, Lumberg, the “Home of the RAST Connector” and the global market leader in RAST connectors, expands its RAST 2.5 portfolio with a new variant designed to provide exceptionally strong retention on the printed circuit board (PCB).

The key feature of the new 3510-6 is its specially designed ribs, which provide enhanced mechanical retention on the PCB. This is particularly beneficial in applications where a reliable connection is essential, even under high mechanical stress. The exceptionally secure fit reduces the risk of unintentional contact interruptions, contributing to the operational safety and reliability of the entire application.

Featuring a 2.5 mm pitch, the connector is designed for direct PCB mating and uses proven insulation displacement technology (IDT) for efficient wire termination. It is available in 2- to 20-position versions, supports bus configurations, and offers options with or without coding ribs and closed side walls. With a rated current of up to 4 A and an operating temperature range of −40 °C to +130 °C (−40 °F to +266 °F), it is suitable for a wide variety of applications.
