The contact form gives interested parties the opportunity to send inquiries directly to us electronically.
If an interested party contacts us in this way, the data provided in the form (first and last name, email address, phone number, etc.) is automatically stored. The storage is solely for the purpose of processing or contacting the data subject.

Alternatively, you can contact us via the email addresses provided on the website. In this case, all data provided by the person will be stored. The emails sent are usually forwarded to general departmental mailboxes. This storage also serves the purposes mentioned above.

The data you enter will be stored by us until you withdraw your consent. Mandatory statutory provisions, e.g., special retention periods, remain unaffected.

1.5.3. Product Inquiry

We use your personal data to process your inquiries about our products.
For this purpose, we collect the following data as part of the inquiry: industry, company, first name, last name, postal code, city/town, street, country, telephone, email, department, state, fax, website. The data collected in this way is stored in our internal database for processing your product inquiry.

1.6. Cookies and Server Log Files

For technical reasons, so-called server log files are created. These files store technical data (e.g., browser type and version, operating system used, time of request, IP address, etc.) that your browser automatically transmits to the provider. This data is not merged with other data, so it cannot be linked to a specific person.

1.7.1. Information on the Processing of Your Application
Documents

You may submit your application by post, email (personal@lumberg.com), or via WhatsApp.
When you apply to us, we process the information we receive from you during the application process, such as your cover letter, résumé, certificates, etc.

Your data will initially be processed solely for the purpose of carrying out the application process and deciding on an employment relationship. The legal basis is Section 26(1) BDSG. If your application is successful, your personal data will become part of your personnel file. All applications remain with us for up to six months after the selection process has been completed and are then permanently deleted or fully returned to you, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.

If your application has caught our interest but we cannot offer you a position at the moment, we will request your explicit consent to retain your applicant data for a longer period in our applicant pool so that we can consider you for future job openings. This consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Unsolicited applications are stored indefinitely and added directly to our applicant pool. You may object to this storage at any time.

Your personal data will only be collected or processed by persons responsible for handling the application. If you apply for a position at one of our group companies, your data will be forwarded to that company for this purpose.

1.7.2. Application via WhatsApp

We offer the option of submitting a short application via WhatsApp. In doing so, only your name, date of birth, telephone number, email address, and desired position may be provided. Please do not send complete application documents such as résumés or certificates via WhatsApp. We will contact you by phone.

The legal basis for this processing is Section 26(1) BDSG and, in the case of requesting your date of birth due to legal requirements, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. The use of WhatsApp is voluntary and represents only an alternative means of contacting us.

1.8. Web Analytics Matomo

We use the web analytics service Matomo (InnoCraft Ltd., 7 Waterloo Quay PO625, 6140 Wellington, New Zealand) on our website.
Matomo uses analytics cookies. The information generated by the cookies, such as the time, location, and frequency of your website visit, including your IP address, is transmitted to our servers and stored there. Your IP address is anonymized immediately during this process, so that you remain anonymous to us.

1.11. Storage Period

The storage period of personal data is determined by the statutory retention periods. After these periods have expired, the corresponding data will be deleted, provided it is no longer required for the fulfillment or initiation of a contract.

If you send us an email via the contact form, your emails will be received in the relevant mailboxes and archived there without limitation.
